Thank you to everyone who came to my talk at MarketingWeek Live last week on The Art of Embracing Change Throughout Your Career. This marked the first time I’ve publicly shared my personal story of career change in front of a large audience, and I appreciated everyone being so attentive, supportive, and engaged amidst the hectic buzz from the conference. My hope is that those who heard the talk gained some insights and inspiration to help reshape how you’re thinking about your own personal situation.
In the days since the conference, I’ve truly appreciated all the people who have taken the time to reach out to me privately, to share what they gained from my talk, along with those kind enough to publicly endorse the talk via social media (thank you @WeNeLi and @missmoneypenney for your kind Tweets). Additionally, I feel very humbled by the bravery of those who have shared their own personal career struggles and dilemmas with me over the past week.
