Self-promotion is not something that actually comes that naturally to me. As someone who’s now running my own business, I have to make a point to market and sell my services, but I always do my best to not overdo it. I suppose I was raised to value qualities like modesty and humility, so the idea of promoting myself and my own work feels a bit uncomfortable at times.
